Dumping syndrome

Has anyone on mounjaro experienced rapid onset diarrhoea and nausea if they eat too much sugar?
I ate too much rich cake and soon felt really rough but after a while in the bathroom (!) it thankfully passed off.
I mostly eat appropriately now but occaisionally my head seems to want to test out my old choices even though they don't seem as nice these days.
Certainly won't be eating like that again!

There's some really good posts about MJ on Reddit.

It does seem to be a thing that an excess of sugar / fat / very rich food can result in an upset stomach. I guess that helps keep people prioritising healthy nutritious food, which in turn helps the weight loss.

@SevernWonders definitely. It was really unpleasant so I will be more cautious with sugar in future. My own fault for having two slices of cake!
It wasn’t hunger at all, just sort of pushing my new boundary.

I tried over eating once on mounjaro and felt like I was dying.

It’s unlikely to be dumping syndrome on Mounjaro. That’s when you digest too quickly, MJ does the opposite

Yes, I am aware of that but it is a condition I have come across before (retired nurse) and this was exactly the same experience.
Despite it’s mechanism Mounjaro does not always keep everything slowed down. For example I am lactose intolerant and if I inadvertently consume lactose it still speeds through at pre mounjaro rate!
I actually find it helpful that this happened though because the immediate consequences is making me avoid excess sugar which is clearly a good thing.
