Pain when injecting?

I have been using MJ for 20 weeks or so now and always inject into a thigh. Today when I put the needle in it really hurt, not putting it in but when it was in my leg. It hurt so much I ended up taking it out and moving a couple of inches over where I was able to inject as normal.

Has anyone else had random pain like this? I have genuinely never felt the injection before let alone felt pain.

I've had that once or twice and I assumed I'd just accidentally hit a nerve.

I don't even feel it going into my thigh usually.
