Since I moved up to 5mg my weight loss has dropped off. I have massive suppression for the first few days after jab and it’s a real struggle to force myself to eat. Then the last half the week I’m able to eat and stay at or below my calorie deficit amounts.

however, I’m now only loosing a pound a week ( I lost over a stone on 2.5mg) and this morning, day after jab iv gained a lb!!

I drink plenty of water, clean eating and in calorie deficit… but it seems disheartening now a bit!

You are losing, a pound a week is nearly 4 stone in a year. Is this week 8 for you or did you spend more time on 2.5mg? Have a look at a few of the online pharmacies, the ones I looked at say that after 2 months the average loss is 6% of your starting weight, have you reached that ?

if so it is working . Some will have lost more by that point and others less, people respond to it differently. If you are losing all is fine and ignore social media where some people seem to drop huge amounts of weight rapidly.

Weight loss is not linear and some people do have weeks where they gain weight as this can be affected by eating salty food, constipation, exercise and hormones. You need to look at the downwards trend and just keep plugging away at it. It isn’t uncommon to plateau for a number of weeks as well and all just part of the process:

Honestly a pound a week is fab. I have been on it for nearly a year and I have never consistently lost a pound a week. I've had the odd month where I've lost 1lb in the whole month I think! But over a year I've lost over 2.5 stones. It adds up and yes it's disappointing not to be one of the people who loses super quick but it's still worth it imho.

I guess the benefits are is that nobody will guess I'm on it unlike some people at work with much more dramatic losses. I like to think less chance of gallstones (I have totally made this up). I have no excess skin, I like to think slow loss allows the skin time to shrink down - I've also made this theory up. (maybe I haven't lost enough) :)
