A question for daily weighers

Does anyone seem to experience rapid weight loss the first half of the week and then weight staying the same in the second half?

I really don't want to lose weight too quickly and risk gallstones. I seem to lose most of the weight in the first half of the week, and it STS or tiny losses at the end. I jabbed yesterday and I have lost 0.75kg overnight. I am aiming for 1kg a week, and don't want to exceed 1.5kg. I'm not sure if it's because I do more exercise on my three weekend days. E.g. I have already walked about 7 miles today and will go and swim a mile in a minute once I have rehydrated. My average weekly loss is 1.55kg, so only just over the safe weekly amount. Plus of course, it's early days.

Yesterday was my 4th injection. I'm very reluctant to increase the dose at this rate of loss.

My weight goes up and down like a yoyo all week, but the overall trend is downwards.

I seem to have a rush of loss for the first few days after the jab and then maintain that until the next jab. Weirdly it is a pattern I’ve noticed. Maybe because I feel slightly nauseous for day 1 and 2 after injecting so eat a bit less generally?

Other way round for me. Slow at first (constipation??) and then faster at the end of the week. But there’s so much fluctuation due to liquid balance and other bodily processes that I don’t think that these +-1.5 kg changes are more than noise in the data. The trend is down.

I inject on a Saturday and I normally get the most losses starting from Tuesday. I think part of this is that I'll usually have a G&T or two over the weekend and that seems to really make me put on a lot of water weight that takes a couple of days to go. My weight can go up or down by 3-4lbs from one day to the next and often for no obvious reason! But I'm averaging a 2lbs loss a week which I'm very happy with.

I have the same as you OP, I inject on a Monday and lose gradually every day until Thursday / Friday. I then stay the same until the following Tuesday when I usually start to lose again. It's the same every week. I eat the same every day and track everything so it's not a case of eating more at the weekend. In fact sometimes I eat better in terms of deficit at the end of the week as I've got more time.

That's what makes me know it's the injection working, I also start to have more food noise and hunger from Friday night onwards when it's wearing off, which I like as I'm having to use willpower which feels useful for when I eventually stop...

I’ve also noticed this pattern, and did so increasingly as I got closer to goal. I think I eat a bit less in the first couple of days when I’m less hungry.

Yup same here, inject on a Thursday night and average 1kg a week sometimes a bit more over the weekend then stops. 6 months and 4.5 weight loss as I’m menopausal with an autoimmune disorder so well pleased.
Also sulphur burps as regular as clockwork on Saturday until Sunday night then gone.

I’m another one who is the other way round!

No loss for 2 or 3 days after injecting and then dropping steadily for the rest of the week🤷‍♀️ I also have bizarre suppression on days 5 & 6…

Ah, this sounds like me. I track calories as well so I'm not eating less at the weekend either. Although there is the increased exercise which might make a bigger deficit. I feel really hungry now as this is the second day in a row I have walked 7.5 miles and swam for an hour. I think it's just activity levels as I doubt the effects will wear off this quickly.

Interesting observations from others too, especially those that have a reversed pattern and those that drink at weekends. I am teetotal, so don't have any effects from alcohol

I'm glad it's not just me! I jab on Tuesdays and am usually 2-3lb down by Friday then steady over the weekend or possibly 1lb back on which I put down to wine/socialising and diminishing suppression in the run up to next jab. Overall trajectory is downwards with average loss of 2.2lbs per week since January.
