Urgh, feel so sick, lack of sleep

I have just increased my dose. Before that I have been sleeping really badly, two weeks of waking most of the night, I’m shattered. Have been in bed since 3pm today, so tired, terrible headache. Ate a sensible sandwich thinking it might help and now feel very sick.

I’m generally very low calorie. Whilst the medication is clearly working appetite wise - great of course, might not having had enough food during the day be affecting my sleep?

Did you increase your dose because the last dose had become less effective or just because the 4 weeks on the previous dose was up?

If the previous dose was working then there is no need to move up, so you could revert next week.

Also when you say low calorie what do you actually mean?

You should be eating about 500 volatiles less than your TDEE so that yo7 are i. a deficit but eating enough calories to enable your body to function.

For me that's about 1400-1500 calories a day, when I started it was 2600-1800 calories. You should be eating a mix of all the main food groups, and ensuring that you have plenty of protein to prevent muscle wastage (your heart is a muscle), vitamins and minerals.

If you are not eating enough and not getting protein then you will feel ill, your hair will likely fall out and you are more likely to suffer side effects.

Urgh so many typos, sorry

I’ve mainly been eating roughly 1000 calories a day. Some days more, some days less. I think my TDEE was around 1800. I felt hungrier this week and lost just under two pounds so thought going up a dose made sense. I had plans to start exercising this weekend but feel too sick.
