UH-OH...

Got an email from MedExpress to say I need to provide my Sumary Health Record before they will re-prescribe (due to order my next pen next week..) I thought my biggest issue was dithering over staying on 2.5 (I'm doing ok but hunger and some food noise is bugging me on week 2) or moving on up to 5.. but now I call my GP to be told it's "put 30 days" to get a copy of my health record!!!!

What now? :( Start again and hope a different provider won't ask? It's probably because I am on an anti-arthiritis drug but I already spoke with my rhumatologist who said it's fine, no contraindications and she lots of patients on both.

Anyway, HEAD'S UP to anyone with any other prescriptions, you will probably get the same issue at some point, so worth requesting a copy of your record from your GP sooner rather than later.

MedExpress also didn't say how often I need to do this - are they going to ask me before prescribing every pen? My GP will hate me!

I had no problem with Zava when I wanted to order 5mg @DelightfullySoSo

They were quick. Wanted photos but nothing else.

I was happy with MedExpress but Zava was cheaper.

MedEx said this is a new policy for them with re-prescriptions.

I don't have an issue moving as I don't think they're the cheapest by far (after the initial welcome deal), but it does make me feel a bit vulnerable having to reorder every month plus the threat of supply /postal delays.

Has anyone else began fantasy clothes shopping? I keep going on the h&m app and making up imaginary shopping baskets for when mounjaro makes me skinny 😅

Whaaaaat? Oh Lordy. I’ve just ordered from MedExpress this evening … did you get a separate email afterwards?

I ordered through Pillsorted for my 5mg pen on Tuesday morning and it arrived yesterday afternoon!
All I did was send a pic of the box of my 2.5mg, picture of me and picture of driving licence or passport.
They were the cheapest aswell after finding a code for £50 off…..I’ll be staying with them throughout the duration now.
I looked at reviews and they scored high on there aswell.
I was going to go to Medexpress…glad I didn’t now!

Yes! And actual shopping on Vinted! I’ve sold my 20’s - huge now (were always on the big side tbh, I’m an 18 really) and replaced them with equivalent things in a 16 (here’s hoping!).
It’s all cheap but necessary stuff, mostly denim.

I won’t be doing any actual serious investment for some time though.

Gah! I knew something like this would happen, MJ has been in the press a lot recently. I guess the pharmacies are starting to get scared.
Ive just put an order for a 7.5ml pen in with a different company but now I’m thinking I should request my health records?

@Mounjaroday I ordered yesterday from med express and when I've checked tracking information today it says royal mail are expecting it. Haven't had any official email saying they've prescribed it though.

I'm taking from that they've okay'd it though.

Yes I had a big loss in the first week which to be fair was probably water and then plateaued for almost a week at the exact same weight. I've only just now in the third week gone down a pound - and I think that was only due to an almighty shit before weighing! I've been walking 4-5km a day so I don't k ow if that's affected it in any way.

However I can feel it in my body that things are changing - my wrists always show it first ( I realise how ridiculous that sounds but when my wrists look lean I know I'm losing weight.

Thing is when you're as tubby as I am it will take a good while before it's noticeable to other people! I'm trusting the process for now.

I think after my 2.5mg is up I will go up to 5mg and not dick about. I haven't had any real side effects - was sick once when I ate too much greasy food and alcohol but if I avoid that I'm fine. I'm hoping that having primed myself on the 2.5 I can get down to business on 5mg.

Mine has been showing that since yesterday . But they emailed me separately this afternoon to say they have had delays, are clearing the backlog and hope to dispatch on Monday.

One week in and 5lb down. Will be really pleased if I get a similar loss this week! Felt aware of the effects wearing off as the week went on, but still had a lot more self control than previously.

Had a little slice of birthday cake yesterday with fondant icing on and was struck by how incredibly sweet it tasted compared the (much bigger!) slices we had before I started the jabs. It's very nice feeling a little more in touch with what my body actually needs, foodwise.

Have felt really tired this week though.

Ordered in a panic - I don’t actually need next batch until the 25th. Sticking on 5mg. No idea if that’s the right thing to do.

@Mounjaroday I may panic order next 5 too, as I honestly couldn't cope if they stopped prescribing. I feel this is life changing! I belive they say they are good for 30 days though!

Do medexpress check when your previous pen was sent before releasing the next one? So can you order very early to allow for any delays?
And does the 30 days lifespan apply only once the pen has been opened? In which case it could sit in the fridge until needed?

Yesssss. I've got a night out in a couple of months that I want to look half decent for for once as it's quite fancy. If I can fit into a size 16 nicely and comfortably I think I will look and feel better than I have in about 3/4 years. I've been squeezing uncomfortably into 16s when I've probably been an 18 for a very long time and looking terrible for it. So that's my interim aim - a nice size 16 dress!

I've got my partners 50th in may. We rarely get chance to go out or have photos together and selfishly I want everyone to see us/ the photos and think how amazing I look!
It might be his birthday but it doesn't matter what he looks like 😂

I had my first pen in the fridge from September until I started last week, so a few weeks will be fine. The expiry date on my pen is one year after it was issued (so sept this year).

I was out tonight with friends and even though I’ve not lost more than a couple of pounds, I just kept being surprised by how nice relatively okay I looked whenever I caught my reflection. My face has been getting awfully bloated over the past few years. It’s improving already.
