I've ordered my first pen and getting ready to start, do people recommend taking electrolytes and of so which ones? Thanks

I do take them - I have a pint of water with a Phizz tablet in it. It’s a good way to get vitamins, water etc in daily.

I haven't taken electrolytes, I would only consider it necessary if I had bad vomiting/diarrhea that wasn't resolving.

Vidrate. They do lots of flavours including limited editions and a night time so nothing is just boring berry or orange with them. My favourites have been coconut, summer blueberry, peach on the beach and the raspberry and watermelon. In to a 500ml bottle of water lovely jubbly.

I first use to do the fizz ones in a tube you could buy from boots then any supermarket branded ones as a way to flavour water but got into Vidrate last year through a promo. For me it is a better option then drinking 250ml pure fruit juice neat any day.

They're completely unnecessary unless you are at risk from dehydration, for example due to bad diarrhoea or if you can't drink plain water. They won't do any harm, however.
