Feeling awful - 10mg

Just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience to mine, and found a way to continue on MJ!

I've gone from 20st 7lb at my heaviest to 18st 7lb with diet and exercise, then started MJ and am now 15st 7lb where I've stuck at for about a month. I'm on week 5 of 10mg.

The last month or so I've been having awful anxiety for no reason, which I would describe as a sense of doom rather than anxiety over anything in particular. I'm nauseous pretty much all day and it is rare that food seems appealing. I'm always very cold, to the point my lips go greyish blue. It's affecting my work as often I have to stop work due to feeling so anxious, and I'm struggling to exercise at the level I was before.

I do not have diabetes, and had a test before starting the injections so have no reason to think otherwise. However I started to wonder if my symptoms were low blood sugar. I've bought a monitor and my levels are consistently low all day, rarely above 4.5mmol and often as low as 3.8mmol. If I have orange juice or similar, my levels go up for a short while but quickly dip down again even when I follow up with a balanced meal.

I don't know whether I should stop the injections or if anyone has found a way around these symptoms! TIA!

Are you eating enough??

Do you want to go down a dose? How many months have you been on MJ?

Have you spoke to your provider about your symptoms?

Hey op
I found I was very much like this on 7.5 so was worried about moving up to 10 , so far I do feel cold but not to the level you are suffering , I haven't had the sulphur gassy burps on this so far.
I wonder if you may be better off asking your provider if you should step back a dose
Sorry I'm no use but I hope you feel better soon and get some answers

I think I'm eating enough, but often most of my calories are from my evening meal as that's when my appetite is strongest.

I hadn't considered going down a dose, and I was worried about speaking to Med Express as I think I've got a fear they will stop my prescriptions.

I shall take the plunge and email them! Thanks both!

I’ve been doing 3.75mg for 3 weeks, and this third week has hit me like a ton of bricks!
I feel anxious, sicky, suppressed beyond belief, tired I could sleep for england, & dizzy! 😵‍💫

I struggled with side effects on 10mg, after having next to no side effects from the start. I've dropped back to 7.5mg and am feeling much better

I read someone recently splitting a dose so having a 5mg then 3 days later 5mg again as it is less side effects at start and keeps them stable all week. Would that be worth a try?
