Increasing from 5 to 7.5

I have been on Mounjaro since October and lost 27lbs so far, happy with how it's going generally!

I have done 4 injections of 7.5, and the side effects just seem to be getting worse and worse, particularly the last injection. I have had egg burps and then vomiting, diarrhoea, so much gas followed by extreme constipation. It feels like a stomach bug and have been out of action for days in some cases this month, so it's not tenable.

Are there foods which I need to not eat? On one occasion I ate beans and I am guessing that wasn't good because they make you gassy?

Do you think I should spread out the injections to say every 10 days rather than 7 or reduce the amount I am injecting? Or go back down to 5 which I was having no issues with but just get a bit more food noise creep in.

Really appreciate your advice!

Thank you

I had a tough first few injections on 7.5mg. I switched injection sites from stomach to thigh and they disappeared. Can you try that?

I’d go back down. It’s unrealistic to expect no food noise or hunger and you will struggle long term to keep it up. Clearly your body isn’t agreeing with the 7.5mg dose and every time you take it, the concentration of the drug gets higher as the half life is so long.
