I have Ancient and Brave True Hydration powder but don’t use it daily. You don’t really need daily electrolytes unless you are dehydrated, have diarrhoea or are working out and sweating like a demon!

I got the Vidrate free sample of 30 sachets 6 months ago (think they still do the free sample, just remember to cancel the subscription - really easy to do), I only use when needed due to side effects and still have around 10 left.

To be honest they are drinkable (just about), but I wouldn't pay the money Vidrate are looking for for them.

I use High5 Zero because they are low sugar. I like the blackcurrant one and I generally take it with a bit of squash in my water bottle too. I fine the caffeine gives me a nice little boost.

I use Diorahydrate soluble, they're expensive but I find really good for hydrating in the morning especially when I wake up thirsty.

This is exactly correct, I see far too many people recommending daily electrolytes when it is not only totally unnecessary, but actually taking electrolytes when not needed can make you feel ill. Unless you are vomiting lots or have severe diarrhoea you do not need them. Just try and have a balanced diet, high protein, lots of fruit & veg, plus plenty of water.
I have been on Mounjaro since August & not needed them at all. I have regular blood tests, my electrolytes are normal.

I only really take them when I'm fasting all day or feel poorly or hungover.

I use the Freak Athletics one from Amazon.

kathjee · 27/02/2025 20:04

Thanks, I'm fasting next month so will be beneficial for that. And also in the first couple of weeks of MJ I had bad diarrhoea I had diorylyte at the time but thought probably need something better. Or at the least something homemade

I use them when I am doing spin or other classes that involve sweating heavily at the gym - a zero sugar one.
