Med Express checking with my GP

After several months med express have written to my doctor and asked if I suffer from various things. The doc called me as they wanted to know if I had gall bladder disease. I don't have a gall bladder / was taken out 40 years ago. He said I could withhold my permission from telling them. I said tell them.
My post is - are there others here who med express are checking on after months of taking it ? Are they tightening up a bit does anyone know?

This is only my second month on Mounjaro, but I noticed the other day that there was a letter from Med Express to my GP under the documents section on my NHS app. To be honest, I saw it as due diligence - notifying the GP I was taking it and advising them that I had declared that I had none of the listed conditions, and to let them know if this wasn't the case. At a time when we are hearing about some online pharmacies operating illegally, I found this reassuring.

MedExpress have sent a copy of the form I have to fill in, every time I reorder. It states the date and strength of pen too.
Personally, I'm happy with that.

Thank you. I have just realised that there are indeed letters from Med Express in my NHS app. I hadn't even looked at this section.

They have now refused my order as I had my gallbladder removed many years ago.

Sorry to hear medexpress have let you down. Try another pharmacy! There are plenty that are cheaper, offer a better service and do not make up arbitrary rules for prescribing!

Have you looked at monj for the list of registered pharmacies?

I get mine from Simple Online, I had my gall bladder removed some years ago but it’s not an issue. They do inform my GP I’m taking it but that doesn’t worry me, it was the GP who said I needed to loose weight!

IQDoctor prescribe to me knowing I have no gallbladder.
They emailed some additional information about side effects some suffer after gallbladder removal but that was all.

Thanks all. Going to look today. The irony of all of this is all my blood results are better than ever and the GP etc are all praising me! 🤷‍♀️
