Still waiting for Mounjaro to be approved (MedExpress), anyone else waiting?

I applied for Mounjaro on MedExpress on 16th February (today is the 25th). Once I’d been through all the questions and uploading photos and my ID etc I received an email saying:

“We wanted to inform you that due to an increase in demand, our clinical team is experiencing a temporary delay of a few days in reviewing and prescribing your treatment.

Your order is in our system and will be carefully reviewed by our expert clinical team. We’re doing all we can to rectify the delay, and have brought in additional staff to help reduce the waiting time.

We understand this delay may be frustrating, as you might be eager to start your weight loss journey. We’re working hard to return to our normal service levels soon.

We apologise for the delay and appreciate your patience and understanding.”

I haven’t heard anything else yet. Just wondered if anyone else had been told there is a delay in approving and has either now got theirs so can give any indication of how long the wait might be, or anyone else in the same position waiting?

I ummed and ahhed for a long time about applying and finally made the decision to and now this, I wish I’d applied ages ago and got started!

Give them a call to see where you are in the system. That’s a longer than usual delay. I don’t have anything on order with them at the moment but have never waited for more than four days, most usually same or next day.

Exactly the same situation my end, although I'm on week 18 & recommended to increase to 10mg!

The delay is going to totally disrupt my prescriptions! Unsure how many days can lapse before being forced back to 2.5mg??? (I placed my order 1 week ago as jab was due on Saturday)! All previous requests had been received the next working day)

My sister is on week 17 & she had received her order the day after her request. (3 days after my request was put through yet looking at my online account it has been put on hold until 5th March?????)

(I'm a slow loser & have only lost 15lbs in 18 weeks!

My last dose was a partial golden dose & I'm not feeling the full effects!

I'm concerned the delay is going to completely mess up the system & hinder any chances of improvement to weight loss!

Oh dear, sorry to hear this! It really sounds like they’re experiencing a huge backlog! I guess the rise in popularity that they can’t keep up with. I have been considering starting since January (new year’s resolution and all that!) but decided to give calorie counting one last try but failed again and again over the last 2 months. I wish I’d just ordered Mounjaro January 1st!

Still don’t know why people keep ordering from ME. So many other pharmacies out there that are less hassle and cheaper!

I ended up cancelling my order with ME due to their delaying tatics. I sent endless photos - 1 complaint of clutter in one photo (the clutter was a chest of drawers). I went back to previous supplier in the end and got a better price.

Would not recommend ME to anyone.

Has a list off suppliers. I've found ZAVA good and slimming clinc.

With Zava the photos had to include date on them.

Funnily enough after submitting an enquiry on the website, I’ve received an email from them today saying my order has been prescribed and will be dispatched within one working day! Pleased to have called them to action but the nerves are setting in about starting!

I messaged them yesterday & they messaged today & apologised & raised an enquiry & will get back to me!!

Nothing yet today??

My account states subscription on hold until 5th March??

I hope I don't have to wait that long as that means I would have lost 2 weeks worth of jabs & no doubt it will throw my system out of sync. 🤦🏽‍♀️

They have been saying the same thing for quite some time. I moved because they clearly have supply issues.

@FlorenceB19 "on hold until" is the date you can next place an order not when you'll receive the current one. Hopefully the status will update soon to say prescribed and sent.
