Mount harp and low mood?

TinyKittenPaw · 20/02/2025 19:37

I’m w3 d5 on mountjaro. 2.5mg.

i think I have been one of the lucky ones - high suppression, minimal side effects (pretty much none).

I know that a recorded side effect is low mood, in contrast I’m feeling so much more focused and upbeat than normal. Has anyone else found this?

Granted I’m not really drinking alcohol (not that I really drank much before) and obviously less food. I’m almost concerned about reaching to a goal weight and being told I can’t have it anymore. Is this the same for anyone else?

Why would you not be able to get it at goal?

TinyKittenPaw · 21/02/2025 20:48

Because I won’t have a BMI over 30.

You need a BMI over 30 to start, not to continue. There are several pharmacies that have developed maintenance plans where you can continue to take Mounjaro as long as your weight doesn't drop too low.

30 is the starting point not the finishing? 30 is obese for everyone, you can’t really think you can’t get it at that? You can go down to 19-23 , pharmacy dependent and stay on for maintenance.
