Side effects after long term use?

I have been on Wegovy for a year now, all good, apart from some fatigue. Only stayed at lower doses as it worked well without needing to increase. I am nearly at my goal but weight loss has been a lot harder, so decided to increase to 1.5 the last couple of weeks, aiming for 1.7.

Injected on Saturday and on Sunday noticed some discomfort in lower abdomen which hasn't gone away. I am slightly more gassy but still going to toilet ok, so not sure if this is caused by the increase in dose. I don't want to go to GP and find out it's self inflicted!

Any long term users of Wegovy or Mounjaro notice more side effects as time went on, or when increasing dose? Not sure whether to carry on this weekend, or reduce it again

Sounds like the discomfort aligns with your increase in dose and also is GI.

Assume you have spoken to a local pharmacist and also your provider first to get their advice and recommendations for the usual OTC/pharmacy prescribed remedies first?

Yes, got some stuff for gas so will give that a go. I didn't expect any side effects after so long. I have also been less hungry this week which was the aim in increasing dose. I'll see how I go the next couple of days and try and decide whether to reduce again. I'm desperate to finish as I'm so nearly there. The last lbs have been really hard though
