Anyone used medicinemarketplace?

For Mounjaro?
seem to be significantly cheaper than other providers for the higher doses and the trust pilot reviews seem good, but have never heard them mentioned before.
would love to hear any stories before I consider switching.

I haven't yet, sorry - just marking my place as I'm interested in this too! I think they're quite new? Only really read good things though (of what little info there is out there!) and they do seem consistently much cheaper at the higher doses than others (which might have big intro deals to tempt people in but then ramp it up at 5/7.5mg+!)

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 19/02/2025 09:38

Lots of good things about them on Reddit! Apparently, they work via WhatsApp and are very responsive. I think they currently only have one prescriber though so may be at danger of getting swamped with their attractive pricing!

VelociraptorsVelociRapping · 19/02/2025 10:34

I’ve just used them for the first time, switching from Bolt. I found them really good. They ask for a face-to-face video consultation or you can record a video and send it via WhatsApp confirming the answers to a few questions. They also want photo ID and your most recent prescription from your previous provider, either email confirmation or photo of the label on the box.

P&P is £10 so factor this into the cost but they were still significantly cheaper than anywhere else.

Thank you that’s great info, think I’ll give them a go next time. I’m on 10mg so it’s quite a saving!

I wouldnt be ordering from somewhere with only 1 prescriber, they will run into problems quite fast with how competitive their prices are.

Snapespeare · 20/02/2025 15:41

I've just used them - slight anxiety at the need for a video call or sending them a video of me on the scales (!) but the lure of relative cheapness is always a primary factor for me.

Ordered on website on Monday, got a WhatsApp same day asking a lot of questions, replied, sent video 7am Wednesday morning, order confirmed via a individualised WhatsApp message from the pharmacist Wednesday lunchtime, order is currently out for delivery.

They've also offered a webinar with the pharmacist.

BigTightropeWalker · 21/02/2025 13:20

Hi @squidgymum can I check what you mean re one prescriber? I don't understand. I'm thinking of switching to them so am curious.

I emailed them in January asking about their maintenance policy, I got a response saying they would get back to me, then a week later another response saying they only had one prescriber for Mounjaro and she was very busy and they would try to get hold of her to reply to me. I'm still waiting.

@squidgymum wow that's a bit crap!

BigTightropeWalker · 22/02/2025 09:44

@Fiddie that's incredible - I've shared my code several times and it's never been used!
Btw I thought you could only get £40 off your order if someone used your code? Do they apply that discount multiple times to the same order if multiple people use your code?
I was wondering - does medexpress notify you when someone used your discount? Or do you have to log into your account to see?

So just to be clear the £40 credits add up and then you can use it for whatever you like. Obviously I used it for more pens.

BigTightropeWalker · 22/02/2025 10:17

Thanks @Fiddie ! 😊🙏

Seems easier just to find a cheaper supplier! I’m with medexpress at the moment.

Does anyone know if you can pick your delivery date with them? That is a big plus for me with my existing suppleir... but not sure if its worth the extra money!

OlderthanIusedtobe · 01/03/2025 09:46

@SundayFundayz Did you order from them? How was it? Thanks in advance.

Haven’t done yet but am going to order from them in a couple of weeks when I need my next one!

Medicinemarketplace declined my order as I'm on meds for underactive thryroid. However, Medexpress were okay with that once I confirmed my thyroid was well under control. Weird that they should take a different view!

OlderthanIusedtobe · 06/03/2025 22:05

I braved it and ordered from them yesterday.
I completed the form online and paid then was contacted via WhatsApp. Last night, I sent a video of me on the scales with some photo id and a photo of my most recent mounjaro box ( showing current dosage) and was notified that my order had been approved at 2pm today. I then received an email from Royal Mail saying they’ll be delivering my item tomorrow!!!!

So impressed!

Feb2025start · 07/03/2025 05:18

I've just ordered from them and been approved, it took a few days but that was entirely my fault (partly because I had some questions - which tbf were answered very promptly via WhatsApp - and partly because they wanted a video of me on scales and I don't have scales at home). I liked the fact they work via WhatsApp so you can see if your message has been read etc, rather than just firing off an email with no clue if/when it'll be read and responded to.

I was approved yesterday afternoon after finally sending the scales video in the morning and my order will arrive today. I'd say without the delays on my side it would have only taken 24 hours. Very happy and I'm sticking with them from now on I think!

TomTom2022 · 31/03/2025 20:33

I've just placed an order with them.
I had to do I short video and show my weight on the scales my starting weight and when I started using mounjaro and any side affects. I added a photo of my last prescription and photo of my id I got a video call back it's been approved

saltcod · 03/04/2025 20:46

Had a similar really positive experience. Lovely, friendly comms from them via WhatsApp. I answered the questions regarding my weightloss journey/any side effects etc so far on MJ, then sent the required video of me on the scales, and pictures of my ID and proof of previous order from a different supplier. I was approved within a day.

MJ then arrived less than 24 hours later (!), well packaged, very cold etc.

Would highly recommend and so much cheaper than any of the previous suppliers I've used (when you're on the higher doses)!

Vicky921 · 06/05/2025 00:58

Hey guys those who purchased the product from Medicine market place how are you finding it working compared to other suppliers? I am on less than 24 hours of 10mg had my previous pen was working much stronger I think. Maybe I’ll give it time and see. Please share me your experience. Also red rubber on the tip of the pen was always slightly ribbed on ALL pens I had before and on this new pen is shiny and more bright red 🙈 I know it sounds paranoid but just wondering if any other batches you had was like that. I guess date is end of 2026 so could be new batches. Please enlighten me ha

They are a totally legitimate pharmacy. Effects can change day to day, week to week and pen to pen so don’t overthink whether the pen is any different.

I have to admit I cannot see any particulate difference in the two red bungs in the picture you have posted. I can also say I have never noticed the texture of any of the pens I used in the at year!
