Can’t shake a cold

Has anyone else found that their immunity has pretty much gone? I’ve had a cough & cold for around 3 weeks now and I just can’t shift it. Everyone else in the house had a few days maximum. I just feel dreadful.

Have you been eating properly ensuring you get your macros and vitamins. The drugs don’t remove immunity, what you don’t eat does.

Yes I’m certainly trying and also taking daily vitamins.
I have read that weight loss can lower immunity as your body is working hard on that it forgets the other stuff.

I have exactly the same issue. I’m eating well and taking a good quality vitamin supplement. It’s getting very tiresome now.

Just been to the GP and been given antibiotics for a chest infection. Will see if these help clear it.

I'm the opposite! Have been on Mounjaro since March last year and I don't think I've had a cold, virus or any other type of illness since then. I usually get 2-3 colds a year, at least 1 which is super heavy and long lasting, but so far so good.

Obviously, I've just jinxed myself Confused

I don’t think this is unique to Mounjaro. I feel like I’ve spoken to a lot of people who have really struggled to shake off winter viruses this year. My DS is asthmatic and has needed three courses of steroids since October, which is unheard of. Anecdotally, I think it’s been a particularly bad winter for bugs etc. I hope you feel better soon.

Yes I think that’s probs fair! I was just so frustrated I was still ill yesterday I was trying to find a reason for it.

I'm currently on about day 8/9 of my cold and I swear it's getting worse not better! I'm not sure I can blame mounjaro though, I just think it's a horrible cold going round...
