Is anyone else having side effects (nausea, super gassy) after many months on MJ?

I've been on MJ since June. Working well. Weight loss has slowed down but that's my body, not MJ.

I've never had side effects really. I've been on 12.5 since beginning of December, but the last month or so, I've really felt very gassy on it - I don't mean sulphur burps - never had those. Just getting increasing build up of nausea over an hour or two, which is then finally relieved by a big old burp. Then it starts again.

I tried splitting dose last week - so half on Friday, half on Tuesday, but its just the same. So now I think I'm going to go back down to 10 as I just feel icky a lot of the time and honestly I don't want to live with the nausea.

Its kind of annoying as I was fine for ages! Anyone else had his on a higher dose and had to reduce down again? Tonight is dose night and I'm not sure if maybe I should split again, and take 5mg tonight and then 5mg later in the week.

I had no side effects until the day after I took first 10mg then I got bad tummy / gas / sulphur burps. It was ok after a couple of days then same again after my second 10mg dose.
I just persisted and seemed to go away and I just get occasional burps now

maybe try the 10mg if you were ok on it?

My worse was the step up at 5mg. I am now on 15 stepped up every month but stayed on 10mg for 3 mths. No gastro problems since 5mg maybe first dose of 7.5mg.

I sucked on mint rennies to get thru it, upped my water. Do you food track? Got complacent on what you are eating? (Takeaways, rich restaurant food, grease, carbs portion sizes).

if rennies don’t work (get a big box from Amazon), adjust your dose back to 10mg and order another 10 next time before you step up. I also sleep semi recumbent for other reasons but it also helps with gastro burps/ reflux.

I suffered diarrhoea episodes, in November, after my second dose of 10mg and it happened for the next three doses of 10mg. As it didn't seem to be improving I went back down to 7.5 for a few weeks and it stopped and all settled down again thankfully.

I went back up to 10mg a month ago and I've been fine with it this time. No diarrhoea or any other side effects.

Thanks all. I think I will go back to 10 for a bit. I have plenty of rennies left that I used to take for indigestion when I was bigger so I'll chomp on them too!
My food intake is pretty much the same as when I started - I track everything on nutricheck and rarely have what I'd call treats. I barely drink alcohol these days either. I think it must just be the build up is too high or something as it didn't start as soon as I moved to 12.5.

Could it be posture related? I am a bit of a fizzy water fiend and I work at a computer most of the day, and I sometimes find I need to walk about for a bit to have a decent burp.

Or alternatively, if you don't drink fizzy water, try some? It used to be marketed as seltzer and useful for relieving trapped wind and the nausea that goes with it.

interesting - It could easily be posture related as I also work at a computer all day. I don't drink fizzy water though. So will try that too.
