I went up to 5mg on Tuesday. I've felt ok until yesterday but last night felt so sick and I still feel awful today. Any tips?

No advice. But hope you are feeling a bit better today :)

Thanks. I feel awful but hoping it'll sort itself out soon.

Could it be something you ate or drink? I had half a pizza few weeks ago and was very ill, only side effects I've had in 4 months

I've had a lot of nausea (and sometimes periods of vomiting) since going up to 5mg. It tends to last about 48 hours after I inject and then wears off.

This is a regular thing for me (I've been taking Mounjaro since end of last August) and I think I'm just one of the unlucky ones who have strong nausea as a side effect. It has got a little easier as time has gone on.

I ended up getting a prescription for cyclizine hydrochloride which helps a little although can make you feel drowsy so I don't take it during the day.

I've had a fair amount of nausea. Aside from the obvious like avoiding fatty and sugary food, I've found peppermint tea, Rennies and electrolytes help. And eating small and often.

This happened to me when I moved up to 5mg.

For my second dose I spilt it in two over the week - I took 2.5mg and then 2.5mg a few days later and felt fine.

For my third dose I took 5mg and felt fine.

Hope this helps.

Still feel awful. Due next jab tomorrow so will need to see how I feel or whether I need to delay. Not as nauseous now (still a bit) but my stomach is so, so sore.
