Injection being kept cold?

DPD tried to deliver my first injection yesterday, and I wasn’t home, so arranged delivery for today to a safe place,( no signature required) they didn’t even leave it in my designated spot ffs!!
so it’s definitely hasn’t been kept cold, as the ice pack had defrosted,
does it matter that it’s not been cold for goodness knows how many hours?

If you're using it very soon and all your jabs will be within 30 days, it doesn't need to refrigerated

The refrigeration rules do seem a bit backwards, with it not needing to be cold once open, but I once had a pen left at the sorting office over the weekend and Zava said it would be ok as long as I would be using it within the 30 days but they would have replaced it if not

You can raise it with your supplier and ask for a replacement if you are concerned.

lol, I say sin, it’s only a little warm if out of the wind , my front porch is lovely, lol I’m in Devon, bitter cold wind though today

I purchased from a recommended website that uses their own dr as I don’t want the horrible receptionist at my surgery knowing as she’s also a neighbour and a gossip!
