Any advice from mounjaro users?

I have been thinking of starting mounjaro for a while now, I really need to lose some weight and am really struggling with sticking to diets. The only thing stopping me taking the plunge is the side effects. I would love to hear people’s own experiences.
also would love to know where people have ordered theirs from, I’ve looked at a few different companies online and am struggling to choose one.

There are loads of threads to find on the subject. Just go through board and you’ll find them.

Check out monj.co.uk for all the providers and prices.

My side effects are different each week- back to tiredness at the moment! I’ve not had anything too bad.

I have never had any side effects and been on it for 3 months now. I just eat very healthy food, no alcohol or fizzy drinks. Lots of veg; low carb - all the usual things for weight loss.

I've had a couple of bouts of vomiting over 6 months, plus quite regular nausea. Other than that, it's been incredible to feel I have some control over my weight again. I don't lose fast though.

I've been on Mounjaro since last June. I get it from the Independent Pharmacy. They needed photos as well as current weight. Even though I didn't have a massive amount to lose, at 5 foot 2 and 11 st 10 I was pretty overweight, uncomfortable and post menopausal.
I had tried lots of diets, 5:2 etc, joined a running club for a year ( which I hated) and I was fed up.
I've not had many side effects, acid reflux (Rennies or Gaviscon are great for that. Certain things I've gone off, coffee (which I used to drink a lot), butter, chocolate (amazingly!) and just mindlessly grazing.
I've had no extreme nausea, never been sick or felt unwell. However, I feel cold all the time and feel tired too. I'm down to 9st 7 and feel good on it. I'll be finishing it soon as I'm happy with the amount I've lost and my clothes fit better.

Started in November. No side effects on 2.5mg or 5mg. Eating a full range of food, just much less than usual, eating more slowly and full much faster. I'm averaging a 2-3lb loss each week and very happy with my progress. I get mine through a scheme run by a private GP which is expensive, but I may move to just buying it online once I am a bit more used to it. Lots of info about deals and discounts codes on this forum if you nose about. Good luck!

Honestly my side effects have been so minimal I forget I’m on it half the time. I’ve been on it since the end of October.
Coldness has been the main one which is pretty persistent but I’ve always erred on the side of chilly.
Constipation on and off but again I’ve never been a daily regular plus I’m eating way less so it’s to be expected (for me).
No sickness, no nausea, no more tiredness than usual, I’m basically totally able to live my life as per normal just with an ability to eat sensibly with such ease.

TickingKey46 · 02/02/2025 17:12

I started on Friday.
Only real side effect is that I'm flipping cold!
I used Voy, as I was nervous and wanted a company that I felt I could rely on. Also my friend used it.

Mysticmaiden2024 · 02/02/2025 18:08

4 months no side effects 😊

Doggymummar · 02/02/2025 18:10

Nearly two years now, no side effects on MJ really. Bit of constipation but nothing too difficult

stealthsquirrelnutkin · 02/02/2025 18:24

First jab at the end of June last year. No side effects at all, now on 12.5mg.

Ojk87 · 04/02/2025 16:14

Thank you everyone! I think I will try and order tonight, I had read so many stories about people getting very ill on it and was worried as I have a small child to look after

I get an insanely dry mouth at night the day I do my jab, nothing a glass of water next to my bed can't solve.

ZoeJudge · 29/07/2025 14:00

Keltoi.co.uk is where i get mine, best clinic i have tried so far.

addictedtotheflats · 29/07/2025 14:09
