For price, customer service , reliability and general use.
I've been looking and it's a minefield.
Want to start mounjaro.

The simplest thing to do is look at a comparison site like Monj and look at the prices quoted there, including any discounts. All the pharmacies on the list are registered and regulated. From reading the threads here, there's not a huge difference between them all. Apart from the ones that offer a subscription model, where you are sent the next prescription automatically every 4 weeks unless you cancel or alter it. The non-subscription ones wait for you to request the next prescription. A few offer additional support of various types, which you may or may not want.

I have personally used Asda and Zava with no issues.

Thank you.

IQ doctor have been fantastic. I’ve just used Medicine Market Place for the first time as they were cheaper. The process was a bit weird but apparently it’s going to be dispatched today and I only ordered it Wednesday so I can’t complain about that

glittermittens · 31/01/2025 08:44

I have used MedExpress and Zava, both good experiences. Happy to share a referral code for either if you would like.

TheChosenTwo · 31/01/2025 08:47

I’ve used Oushk from the beginning because you can choose a delivery date so I would definitely be home. Although the last 2 times I’ve ordered it’s come a few days early!
I’ll stay with them because they offer decent looking maintenance options which I’ll look further in to when I get there.
I’ve never chopped and changed around though so I don’t have experience of any other provider. Oushk aren’t the cheapest but I’m happy with the service (as in they send me what I order!).

Baconking · 31/01/2025 08:57

Have had no problems at all with Medexpress

Time4changeagain · 31/01/2025 08:58

I’ve used medexpress (never again as customer service was shocking)
Zava no problems at all (moved for cheaper price)
Now with IQ Doctor I’m staying with them as customer service is really good and pens have been dispatched within 24hrs and arrive cold.
@MelainesLaugh IQ Doctor will price match any offer you find. You just have to email them before placing your order with a screenshot of price. They reply back advising on what to do 😁

Queenofthejabs · 31/01/2025 09:02

People use medexpress as they give a 40 quid off voucher to get you started, and a referral code that if someone uses. You also get another 40 off. The forum gets utterly spammed with them, to such an extent that mnhq had to set up a sub forum just specifically for them.

however what med express do is also increase the pricing hugely as you move up the doses, so entice in with low pricing, then effectively gouge as you move up, whilst using their customers to try and get more in.

they also do not support maintenance, and will give a hard cut off at 23.5 bmi or bizzarely at two years as they treat all wli the same, and you can’t stay on wegovy for more than two years (mounjaro is for life)

thw service levels seem to be the same across them all in terms of speed of service.

Darkplums · 31/01/2025 09:07

I’ve been using med express and have been happy with them. I’ve been lucky enough to get vouchers using referral codes making it cheaper.
If I don’t have any vouchers when I next order then I will consider medicine market place as they are the cheapest but I haven’t heard anything about them.

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 31/01/2025 09:25

Big fan of Pharmulous!

Same day despatch (although first orders may take longer due to checks etc), very responsive to enquiries, can book deliveries for specific days, price is competitive, excellent maintenance support and of course, the lovely Dr Mel who is recording her own MJ journey on TikTok!!

Adelstrop · 31/01/2025 09:46

I’ve used Superdrug, MedExpress and Oushk. Superdrug is very expensive and required photos that I had to contort myself to take. MedExpress was cheaper but their customer service is not brilliant, and the discount code spam is annoying. Oushk is mid price and very responsive, and you can choose your delivery date. They also have a fairly flexible maintenance arrangement, though I imagine that will become more common as more people need it. The other consideration is whether or not you want coaching - I don’t, so I haven’t explored that. Good luck.

IHateMozzies · 31/01/2025 12:31

Have a look on monj.co.uk. I have used Superdrug, Medexpress and IQ Doctor - all good x

When I tried Ozempic about a year/18 months ago, I switched around for the best deals all the time but it was bloody exhausting and annoying having to give your details over and over again.

So when I started Mounjaro in January this year, I opted for Juniper. This is a scheme where you get a health coach, Bluetooth scales and absolutely shit tonnes of additional support and resources. It was £129 first month and I think it goes up to £200 thereafter.

I have the security of supply. I know what I will pay, and I get additional support, which I need.

Others might not benefit from that extra support and are happy to shop around each month.

EdwardsJE · 01/02/2025 09:14

Big big fan of Chequp! They offer coaching as well like some of the other more expensive competitors. It is a subscription, but still cheaper than other pharmacies. They let you pause your subscription whenever and offer unlimited zoom coaching, and will answer your emails so quickly. They do offer a referral discount, but it's not a code so we don't go round spamming all the threads 😅. PM me if you want to know more, or want a bit of money off xx

Good luck with your journey with whoever you choose x

MrsFunnyFanny · 08/02/2025 12:27

I’m with Cloud Pharmacy, and am happy to stick with them as the service has been great from start to finish. I’d rather stay with a really good service that I know works, than shop around to save a few quid.
