Can I restart?

Looking for some advice- I took 2.5mg of mounjaro for 2 months and then moved to 5mg. I had a big holiday and lots of nights out planned for a big birthday so I only took one dose of the 5mg and haven't been on it for the last 4 weeks. My question is do I need to restart at 2.5 or can I go back to the 5mg dose? TIA

Depends on your supplier really , I was on 10mg and decided to stop as was close to goal weight however I quickly gained 10 lbin 3 weeks as my appetite was ferocious , not the best solution but I decided to go back on to it , I really think it's got to be a long term thing as suppressing appetite doesn't teach new habits for when reality kicks in from stopping , I was mindlessly eating and so disappointed with myself
I contacted supplier who said I could restart on 5 mg , took 2 days to be effective and I'm
Now 4lb down in a week
It's not the way as for me I didn't learn new eating habits it was just the suppression stopping me over eating
Not sure how long I will stay on it but I'm wary of stopping again ...the feeling of suppression is addictive ...

For me I'd only just started on the 5 and was conscious of any side effects and didn't want that on holiday and when I came back I knew I'd have some big social events with drinking so I just thought the safest bet was to stop for a little while and not have things ruined from having side effects. I definitely think it's changed my attitude towards eating as I've had good results and haven't wanted to ruin that with eating crap and I do feel like my appetite has been less even though I've not been taking it. I have contacted my supplier to ask what I should do but I wanted to post here for anecdotal advice too as the boards have been great while I've been on it

@joyouslady hopefully they will restart you , I was asked last injection date and had to send a photo and was able to start again .. no side effects either which I was concerned about with having a month off
