I’ve ordered the wrong dose of mounjaro I’ve re ordered a 2.5mg instead of a 5mg would be my 1st time on the 5mg as well would I be able to take 2 x 2.5mg or shall I just take the 2.5mg for the 4 weeks again

Since the pens cost about the same it will be really annoying to use one up double speed, plus you might have trouble getting your next two weeks before the pen should run out. I'd start be contacting your provider and seeing if they will exchange, if not I'd probably stay on 2.5 for another week, especially if your loosing.

Thank you I’ve contacted my provider and they won’t exchange it I’ll just preserve with the 2.5 mg thanks

They will never exchange - once the pen is out of their cool chain it cannot ever be restocked or sold.

Are you getting good results on 2.5?

What is the expiry date on the new 2.5mg pen? If it’s got a long date on it I’d be tempted to put it aside for when you’re titrating back down the doses after you reach your target weight. Then buy another 5mg one for now- finances permitting of course.

As there’s always a bit more in there than the 4 doses I would consider doing 2 weeks of 2.5 and 2 weeks of 3.75. But I know some people don’t like messing about with counting clicks/double injecting

This is what I plan to do with my current 2.5 pen to slowly titrate up to 5mg pen.
I am going to do 3 weeks of 3 mg, so normal dose and an extra 12 clicks. 72 clicks in total
Then the 4th week I will syringe the remainder which will be 3.5mg. (84 clicks)
