Faulty pen

I’ve been on MJ since September. No problems up to now with pens from three different suppliers. My current pen was stiff the first dose I took, but I managed a dose. This morning it was very difficult to prime, then I could not get it to inject. I’ve written to the suppliers, but I wonder how common this is. I don’t think I did anything different with this oen, so it is very annoying.

Have you tried a new needle, sometimes causes issues if needle is faulty/bent.

It is not very common, but also not unknow for pens to fail. Be prepared for your supplier to request pen back and/or give you partial credit if you have had one successful dose out of it.

It is far more likely it’s the quality of the needles they’re sending. They have to go on exactly straight, the slightest angle & some of them bend easily & don’t draw up the liquid properly. It might be worth buying a box of your own needles, from a pharmacy so they’re medical quality.

Switch the needle. Usually that fixes it.

Thanks everyone. It was indeed the needle, I didn’t think of that. All sorted now.
