Anyone else not losing

I lost 9 lbs in the first 10 days. But I literally haven't lost anything since. In fact this is week 4 of 2.5mg I haven't eaten any more than usual. And I feel so fat and bloated. I am on my period so there's that. But scales haven't moved at all. It's so disheartening because I'm not a big eater anyway, and I was actually trying to eat more and better which I have been doing well with. I went in MJ because this is the weight I always plateau on and then just get stuck. I have a stone to lose. I have hypothyroidism and really thought MJ would solve the problem, as iv stopped a lot of carbs and gluten which I think aren't good for my gut and weigh loss. I am going to go up to 5mg now but really if iv changed my habits and eating less and better what can the 5 mg do 😞

What was your starting BMI? Less than 2 stone to lose isn't very much to be on WLI.

The bloating will be water weight that is "canceling out" the fat loss on the scale. Wait until your period is over and the bloating goes away and you'll see the results you already have on the scales.

I also have hypothyroidism and I gain soooo much water in the lead up to my period and during it that I cycle two dress sizes each month up and down.

9lb is a huge loss in 1 week and it sounds like you wasn't a huge weight to start with if 1 stone to loose. I would say 3 weeks of no loses is your body levelling out the big first lose. 2.5mg is just a starting dose for your body to get used to the drug. I lost 4lb in a month on 2.5mg and I'm considerably bigger.

Are you drinking enough water to avoid water retention? Around 2l a day should help. Mounjaro suppresses appetite but also reduces inflammation so higher dose may help

My ethnicity and health conditions means my bmi target is lower so I can be on MJ. Tbh I probably have over a stone to lose but because iv stopped losing I don't want to set an even higher target and just be disappointed, so trying to get to the stone loss first and then take it from there. Yea I'm ok at drinking water, I really hope it's my period although I'm on day 3 now, I think I'm going to give it another month, doesn't seem worth it for all the side effects I get

Yes if its your period, the water weight didn't come off for around 5 days for me when it ended. I was bmi 31 when I started but was eligible at 27 due to my ethnicity too. Nhs bmi calculator is quire scary as to suggesting what weight I should be to be healthy!
