Hi I'm thinking about joining the Shemed weight loss thing but I am worried. How do you do the blood test yourself? And what are the injections like?

For the blood test they send you a device called the Tasso, which you just stick to your arm (it's adhesive) and then when you press the button it does a skin prick and then collects the blood. Apparently it's very easy to use and doesn't hurt. Not done it myself, though.

I've been doing the injections for 6 months now, so done about 30 of them. Once you've read the instructions carefully and followed them step by step, it's not too tricky. It also doesn't hurt, the needle is only 4mm long which is tiny, and it's super fine. It's not even a scratch or a sting.
