Does the injection site make a difference

I have always injected into my love handles till now. This week just gone I injected into nearer my navel (and got a nasty reaction which I already posted about!)
I have noticed that the food noise has come back with avengence and I have eaten far more since than usual this week.
It is my first week on 10mg and I thought that my appetite would be a lot more suppressed than it has been

Has anyone else noticed a difference in effect linked to changing the injection site? Or whether once you started getting allergic the MJ stopped working as well as it had done previously? I am super disappointed 😞 I know that in the long run I will need to tackle my binge-eating disorder but I was not expecting to have to start thinking about this now

How close to your navel did you go? I think if you're within about 2 inches the MJ doesn't get absorbed properly.

"love handles", if you meaning to the side of your waist, are not an injection site.

If you have gone within 5cm of your belly button it is also, specifically called out in the leaflet, as not an injection site (something to do with the anatomy around it).

Might be worth re-reading the leaflet. There is also a diagram to show you the possible injection sites.

Thank you both for the replies. I think I should've said "muffin top" rather than love handles for the site where I usually inject. On my somewhat ginormous belly. Not at the sides. I was trying to mix it up a bit as I have lots of bruises at the moment.

I think I injected literally about 5 cm away from my belly button. Definitely not any closer but maybe that's what has caused it to not be effective. Lesson learnt!! Might try thighs next time although I swear I read someone say that did not seem to be as effective. Thank you both very much!!
