I've been looking at Mounjaro. My bmi is 32. My joint hurt.
I graze so badly all day.
I have tried apps. I have tried sw , ww etc.

I truly believe if I'm paying out loads I won't feel the urge to ' cheat'

Also where has been cheapest for mounjaro and do any accept PayPal.

Look at monj.co.uk for prices and discounts

There is a dedicated referral code thread to get referral codes (don't post anywhere else as it is against forum rules)

I use bolt pharmacy. In my experience and in that of friends who use it, cheating isn't an option as you just don't want the food in the same way. For me there's no difference between walking down a washing powder aisle and a wine aisle or bakery aisle etc. I just don't want any of it!

IHateMozzies · 18/01/2025 19:39

Check out monj.co.uk for the best prices. Sorry not sure which take paypal.

SilenceInside · 18/01/2025 20:01

Zava and Asda both allow PayPal payments, as I've used both of those.

If you do an internet search for the name of the pharmacy you're interested in using followed by "PayPal", you should be able to find the pharmacy's FAQs pages on payment and whether PayPal is an option.

Thank you. Will search around.
I'm so scared though but I don't know why

It's probably just because it seems like a big step and a bit of an unknown quantity. Most people don't usually get private prescriptions for things so aren't used to the process.

All the providers on the monj.co.uk site are regulated by the GPhC. Some are big names that you will recognise (Asda, Boots, Superdrug etc), some are already used by people to fulfil their NHS prescriptions. I get my BP medication fulfilled by Pharmacy2U for example.

Fear is good, it prompts you to do your research and read patient leaflets before injecting to make sure you are well informed of what you should do/expect and the risks. Steps many leap in and don't do.

I think you make a good poin@NotGottaClue I took my diet more seriously because I was paying for MJ.

RamblingFar · 20/01/2025 03:13

The Care Pharmacy take PayPal.

I'm thinking about this too, have looked into it a few times but always been a bit scared. My BMI is 29.2, so technically I can't get it online, unless I say it is a big higher, which it will be if I dont sort it out. I am an all or nothing person, I'm either binging and eating everything in sight just for the sake of it, or I just dont eat much at all although the binging is more frequent.

Worrying about the cost but if I tighten my belt I can do it. What happens as people lose weight and their BMI goes down, will they still prescribe it to you?

WeAllHaveWings · 20/01/2025 13:15

Most pharmacies will prescribe to at least a healthy BMI (many will allow you to change to them below BMI 30 as long as you have proof of previous prescription).

Once you reach your goal weight different pharmacies have different approaches to prescribing and maintenance, so it is important to do your homework and stick with a pharmacy with the maintenance options you want. Most people looking for maintenance look into this before they hit BMI < 30.

I am with Oushk, if you google Oushk maintenance you will see their approach. Cloud I think also does it and others will too. There was thread recently talking about different pharmacies maintenance options that might help you.
