There's been a couple of threads recently about these supposed "GLP-1" patches

GLP-1 Patches www.mumsnet.com/Talk/weight-loss-injections/5254272-glp-1-patches

They are very low dose berberine. Nothing to do with GLP-1 medications. If you want to try taking berberine then you can buy it in tablet form at very very much higher strengths than what's in the patches.

how are folks falling for this?

HansHolbein · 19/01/2025 00:15

They aren’t GLP-1 they are bollocks.

I must admit I've fallen for it and ordered some, ordered this morning before seeing this thread. Happy to post if I see results.

As I commented on the previous thread about these, I reported them to Facebook for false advertising and they disagreed with me and said the ads were fine! 🤷‍♀️

There are no results to be had, unless it’s a placebo effect. Taking a tiny dose of berberine and cinnamon through your skin is not going to get into your blood stream and make you lose weight.

if you want to try berberine get it down Holland and Barrat or off Amazon, the tablets are about 100 times stronger, and sprinkle some cinnamon on your breakfast,
