Wegovy after gallbladder removal

Good morning, I have been taking wegovy for a year and has been really successful with it. Before starting, I knew I had gallstones but honestly it hasn’t been a bother, as I barely have any attacks at least until end of November. Following that attack, I had a scan and mri done to locate the stones. I have asked if I could carry on with wegovy and I was told yes.

In order to dislodge some gallstones, I had an Ercp that worked super well but few hours after that endoscopy I developed pancreatitis, didn’t take wegovy again and I had to stay in hospital for few days and I will have my gallbladder removed in a couple of weeks.

You have the background, now the question : anyone has been in this situation and started taking wegovy again once their gallbladder was removed ?

Thank you

My sister had her gallbladder removed years ago and has been prescribed Wegovy by her local NHS weight management team. She didn't want to go via the private online route because of other health concerns, feeling it would be safer to be under specialist care. They had no problem prescribing Wegovy (they haven't got round to adding Mounjaro to their patients yet) and she has been on it for a few months now without any side effects.
