I’ve hit the healthy BMI range!

I just wanted to share!

I haven’t had to lose tons as I was BMI just below 30 with pre diabetes so was eligible. I also had lots of inflammation, joint pain, didn’t sleep well, hormones all over the place and felt disgusting. All my weight was round my middle so super unhealthy and lots of risk factors for future poor health.

I started on 30th September and today stepped on the scales to see the magic 24.9 BMI!

I feel absolutely great! I’m down 2 dress sizes, all my ailments have gone, I sleep well, my hormones have evened out, I’m exercising again and have more energy. I’ve started playing sports with my son which I’ve never done before as been too sore or to lethargic and felt horrible.

I did a Pilates class yesterday and sat in front of the big mirrors for the first time and whilst I still have some weight around my middle, it is so minimal in comparison to how much fat was there before!

I am off to wedding today and I know I’m going to feel fabulous in my new dress with my new, healthy figure.

I plan to lose a little bit more as I’d like to be more mid healthy BMI and I still have fat around my upper thighs and around my middle that could go.

overall I am completely over the moon in what I have managed to achieve. My diet is better, I exercise loads, sleep well and I am so excited for my new healthier life.

I now need to work on a plan to keep this weight off which will be my focus as I work through my last couple of kgs of loss.

If there are any good threads on here for maintenance I’d be grateful for a link.

Thank you to anyone who got this far and reading my very self indulgent post!

Well done. Good attitude.

We all know that many people who lose weight - using all sorts of different methods including surgery - do regain weight.

However as a reply to your OP, it was harsh and bitchy in tone and manner.

Size 10! You must be thrilled! Congrats
