Been reading about everyone side effects, wondering if anyone has been fortunate enough not to have them?

I’ve pretty much much had none. I did feel shit (tired and nauseous) for two weeks on 7.5 but then I changed the injection site and now I’m back to no side effects.

thesaskedminger · 16/01/2025 22:15

I haven't had any, I have been on 2.5mg for around 12 weeks now.

Bellyblueboy · 16/01/2025 22:23

I have had very few. Headache for a few days and some fatigue for first couple of months.

I have just taken my 17th shot and am still on 5mg

northsouthlass · 16/01/2025 22:28

This sounds positive. Thank you.

I didnt until 10mg.

Snozzlemaid · 16/01/2025 23:26

10mg was the first time I had any side effects too. Dropped back to 7.5 and it all settled down again.

On week 13 and only one side effect which was constipation. I now have 5 prunes each day and back to normal. My friend is sick 2 days after the injection but fine all the other days. You could be lucky

ThisMustBeMyDream · 16/01/2025 23:57

Been on Saxenda for 20 months. No side effects at all.

Willowy1982 · 17/01/2025 06:19

I've had none and I'm on 7.5mg and I'm at my goal weight.

Weepixie · 17/01/2025 06:25

Nothing really till I started 10 and I’ve been feeling awful on it so I’m back down to the previous dose.

I’ve absolutely no regrets whatsoever that I’m in the medication despite feeling grim for two weeks. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done for myself.

Weepixie · 17/01/2025 06:27

It’s interesting to see other mention their problems on 10. I’m so glad I wasn’t imagining it and it was so bad on week 2 I was in my bedroom all week exhausted and feeling just grim.

stealthsquirrelnutkin · 17/01/2025 18:33

Started at the end of June, currently on 12.5mg not had any side effects at all.

FlipYouCouldBeMe · 17/01/2025 20:13

I've been on 2.5mg for about 3 to 4 weeks. So far I've hardly had any negative side effects! I'm cold and have had a bit of low blood sugar, but neither of those things bother me at all.

I've had lots of positive side effects which are:

*My bowels (sorry for tmi but...) have been much more regular and normal

*I'm spending less money on all sorts of things from online lotto to food to random Amazon scrolling

*I'm wasting less time online

*I'm less interested in unhealthy food

*I'm drinking more

*I'm sleeping a lot better

*My face looks clearer and brighter and less puffy

*although I've not had much suppression yet, I haven't binged. I've actually wanted to self sabotage but been unable too - my body just wouldn't let me which was weird!

*I'm weirdly chill and relaxed (as if i was on sedatives or something! Quite nice feeling!)

Yeah! So far so good!! I honestly think mounjaro is a wonder drug which does so much more than just weight loss! 👍

Mysticmaiden2024 · 18/01/2025 01:39

I've had no side effects, on 7.5mg 3.5 months later

Shrinkingrose · 18/01/2025 08:58

Some mild nausea when I started 5mg, past that no, everything works better, I have more energy, and feel great. Now on 10mg.

Lola3034 · 18/01/2025 09:44

First time since starting Mounjaro in August I spent last night with extreme diarrhea and vomiting. Note to self end everyone else: drinking 500ml of ginger shot from Lidl isn't recommended 🤣😂😅 no mater how thirsty you are and how delicious it tastes.

Doggymummar · 18/01/2025 09:51

Nearly two years for me. I was very poorly on Ryselbus which is Ozempic if I remember rightly but I pushed through. It was mainly regurgitation of food and because you take it daily this was daily at the higher dose until I adapted. I switched to MJ in September and haven't got to the top dose as yet, due to start 12.5 this week. I have had constipation but I had this anyway. A Dulcolax on Saturday night usually sorts it out but I am going to try a daily green shake next week.

TwirlyPineapple · 18/01/2025 10:09

I didn't have any side effects at all aside from mild food repulsion (plus the desirable ones like lack of food noise and reduced hunger) until I was about five months in. Since then, I've had sulphury burps and intermittent diarrhoea and constipation depending on what I eat and if I drink enough water.

WorriedRelative · 18/01/2025 10:24

Nothing serious.

Occasional headaches, a couple of days heartburn, a bit of constipation. All easily sorted with remedies bought at the supermarket. Ibuprofen, Rennies and Dulcolax respectively.
