Avoid Orlistat

I was using Orlistat for over 12 months as I just couldnt loose weight.
Yes I had fantastic results and lost 2 stone but I kept get sharp stomach pains.
Was advised maybe side effect.
Then October 2024 I was rushed into hospital doubled up in pain. To be told I had stage 2 Diverticulitus disease on both left and right side of colon and it was turning nasty.
I am now in constant pain.
Wish id of done more research I would never of taken then.
I now have a complete life changing condition ontop of my other health issues.

I'm so sorry. It sounds so painful. Were you told Orlistat caused it?

The consult at hospital said they really thought it was the Orlistat that caused it. Id never had issues before. I now have to avoid so many foods. Trying to find pain reliefas Ibuprofen and cocodamol agrevate diverticulitus.
