Can I take my Mounjaro jab a day early?

I'm on week 2 of the lowest dose. I inject on a Saturday morning. Unlike my first week, I was hit with diarrhoea as a side effect on the Sunday and Monday after my 2nd injection.

I'm doing jury service next week and really need to avoid needing constant loo breaks! Could I take my third dose a day early, to move to a Friday injection cycle and hopefully keep side affects to the weekend (🤞🏻🤞🏻)? I'd then keep to Fridays as injection days. I'm getting strong suppression at this dose so I'm hoping to stay on it if possible.

Yes it's fine to take the jab a day early.

Yes, as the PP says. If you read the patient info leaflet that comes in the box, you will see instructions about this. It says:

"If necessary, you can change the day of your weekly injection, as long as it has been at least 3 days since your last injection"

Oh my goodness, how stupid of me, I didn't even think to check whether this was covered in the info sheet! Oops! Many thanks for your help. 🙂

I have done it in a past too. I didn’t want to take it with me on holidays but wanted to carry on with injections. No side effects! Like previous posters said the leaflet covers it so I didn't worry about it too much.
