Have you swapped from Wegovy to Mounjaro?

I’ve been on Wegovy for 12 months and lost 3.5 stone. Minimal side effects but want to swap to Mounjaro as feel I need a boost to get me to goal and also can stay on it longer term. I have found a couple of chemists who will allow me to swap to them with a week break between.

If you’ve swapped did you get any side effects from mounjaro? And as you have to start on lowest dose did you still lose weight or not until you’d progressed to higher doses?

A bump and a question- Is there an idiots guide to these injections? I don’t know the difference between the types, and don’t know where to start.

No side effects at all. I was on Wegovy for 4 months and only lost 2kg so wanted to switch. Have been on Mounjaro for 1.5 months and haven’t lost anything yet but hopefully it will kick in when I move up to the third dose.

This is exactly my experience too. No side effects, but starting on a low dose has meant no losses so far.

Hmm that’s disappointing. I don’t think I’ve got a choice to stick with Wegovy long term though. I might have to accept that I will plateau for a bit when I swap.
