Anyone just started Wegovy?

I can’t see any threads and I’m wondering why everyone is on the other brand names? 😬

Ive just completed day 1 and i’m on the lowest dose. So far no side effects and am
not craving my usual go-to food which is interesting.

I'm on Wegovy. Just ordered third pen. Lost 1.5 stones really pleased. No side affects so far. On the lowest dose. No food noise at all. Had a hit of constipation for first few weeks but nothing since. Agree everyone else on MJ

It was 50/50 which to pick.

I have to say today I felt completely normal. I think I am eating a little bit less but probably not enough to lose any weight. I read it takes three days to kick in and of course I’m on the lowest dose 😬

I'm on the lowest dose too. Haven't wanted to increase unless get the food noise back. So my third pen with Wegovy on the lowest dose too

They're two similar but different drugs, not different brands of the same drug. Wegovy is semaglutide and Mounjaro is Tirzepatide. Mounjaro is probably more popular as it has been shown to be more effective with fewer side effects. But Wegovy still is effective at producing weight loss and many people use it without side effects, or with minimal side effects.

Ozempic and wegovy are the same drug, they target one receptor , mounjaro is a totally different drug, in the same family and targets two. It’s the newer drug snd more effective with fewer side effects, in addition wegovy can only be used for a max of two years, mounjaro can be used for life. Hence why more people are on it.
