SheMed have emailed me to confirm I can’t get the injections as am in Scotland as they can’t deliver there, so confused about this and disappointed 😪

err I am in Scotland and its SheMed I use - are you very far North?

Weigh in today and total loss since 17 January is 6.8kg. I feel it in my jeans. Im so happy about this.

I'm NE Scotland and SheMed allowed me to sign up for the initial £99 subscription even though a few people had said Scotland and NI were excluded. Hope this helps.

Am in Wishaw which is about 25/30 mins from Glasgow. I me sssged them and they said no as don’t deliver to Scotland. How should I go about it , should I just try placing a n order for Blood tests as maybe they think am in outer Hebrides, and if they d int deliver they will refund? Thank you so much for responding to me it’s very helpful. BTW congrats on loss keep going and good luck with your journey xx

hi, Im not that far away but in the opposite direction so no idea why they have said that to you. Very strange of them. And thank you, Ive found that its a good tool to use to help lose weight, but its not a magic cure all.

That’s so strange right enough. Do you think I should just try placing the order ?

travelforthesoul · 10/03/2025 17:49

maybe give it a go and see.

Shazzabelle · 11/03/2025 08:20

Shazzabelle · 11/03/2025 09:06

@Margo84 well done 😃u fill it in after 2nd jab i think first time takes couple or maybe 3 days to actually arrive from filling in etc . I think everyone goes up to 5 after 4 weeks UNLESS u have been really poorly . You CANNOT stay on it longer than 8 weeks that's what I've read anyway x

Amazing have you had any sure effects at all and how did you get on with the 2.5?

Shazzabelle · 11/03/2025 09:44

@Margo84 I lost 7.5lb on 2.5 mg wk1 3lb
wk2 2lb
Wk3 2lb
wk4 0.5lb

Zero side effects
Zero food noise
Fair bit of suppression not huge
No inner battle to snack
Bundles of energy !!!
Been feeling fab
Just hoping stays like this

cmma01 · 11/03/2025 11:48

I started on my first dose of 5mg this week. Zero difference from the past 2 weeks of 2.5mg to be honest. No side effects but little appetite suppression either!

I was excited to lose 11 lbs my first 2 weeks on 2.5mg but then I plateaued and lost only 1 lb over weeks 3 and 4 of 2.5mg.

I've upped my exercise and protein intake each week, am off alcohol and sugar, and am in a calorie deficit as I'm roughly 1200 calories per day.

The food noise is increasing and I'm counting the hours to the next meal. I'll know more after 4 weeks of 5mg, but am wondering, is it possible for someone to become immune to Mounjaro?

BestDIL · 11/03/2025 12:00

For those with side effects, this is worth looking at - very quick, promise!

I am going to switch to injecting in my thigh this week as I am still getting indigestion and heartburn - won't hurt to try I think.

As for losses, I think I will be on for 3lbs this week (two more days to check in). I was being super good with my food, cooking from scratch etc but this week I have relaxed a little (just a little, mind) and I have a decent loss after last week's 0.6lbs which I was disappointed with.

For the first time my injection last Friday was sore and I have bruised (on belly). I will try again on the other side this week and see what happens.

Kebabo · 12/03/2025 06:23

Well, week 8 completed. On 5mg Mounjaro. No side effects. Lost 3.7lbs this week bringing total weighloss to 2 stone 8lbs. Good luck all who jab today.

@Kebabo wow your still having gr8 losses and no side effects magic !!

BestDIL · 12/03/2025 09:42

@Kebabofantastic results. You’ll be at target before you know it!

kittykarate · 12/03/2025 17:04

Fantastic Kebabo!

Just a 100g loss this week, but you know, on average it's still over a pound a week (8.4kg, just done jab 10) , so still heading in the right direction. There's still a long way to go to my personal goal (25kg lost) and a heck of a long way to go to get to what my smart watch reckons I should weigh (40kg loss!!)

Just for interest, after you moved to 5mg dose in week 5, did they up it again on week 9 or keep you at 5mg?

I was kept on 5mg when they issued new pen. Not sure what the criteria is for moving up.

OP posts:
kittykarate · 13/03/2025 07:36

As 5mg is one of the licensed doses they'll probably keep you on it for at least 2 pens or longer if you are losing well on it. It's the step doses they want you off quickly.

Beverbee · 13/03/2025 07:55

Well done everyone!

Whilst I was away my scales were in favour but when I eventually checked in I’d stayed the same. Was walking a lot & other than some cocktails & wine, was staying in good food choices range. My body does this, seems to realise what I’m up to & hangs on to those 1lbs. (This is the point I’d usually falter). Was a bit deflated at staying the same as I had been compensating & working at it plus travelling back to UK was a bit more difficult to manage eating choices. Looks like that may have worked in my favour though, maybe eating a few more calories helped.Just done week 5 check in & last weeks progress caught back up.
Arrived back on Sunday night & used a lot of will power to get in the zone. MJ suppression not felt. Did my week 4 jab whilst away & it didn’t reach the number 1. I did double prime in week 1 as no liquid came out & I was so nervous about getting 1st injection wrong. Was really looking fwd to this weeks jab & some MJ help.

Done my 1st 5mg.
I’m a thigh injector. 🩼

Side effects wk 1-3, abdomen pain. Eased with windeze. Constipation on WK 4, eased with stool softeners. Possible triggers, flying & less water more wine 🫣

Finger crossed 5mg goes well in these coming weeks.
