Definitely need a new swimsuit!

lol me too, binned one cause it was a bit too big and bitty, and left my second one in changing room and it’s gone, who’d want a wet 50+ ladies swimming costume i don’t know , so new one for me x

🎶baggy trousers🎶🎶

😂

Well done you!

Can I ask, if you are stretching the pen out, does this mean using it longer than the recommended four weeks and bin ? Any affects from doing this ?

Guess what I did today and I haven’t been able to do it for about 20 years because I was , note past tense, was!! so fat, I couldn’t do it without potentially causing myself an injury….

I got on a moving escalator as I could actually look down and see the moving step, rather than looking down and seeing only boobs! I felt so liberated. I got on an escalator. Yay!

it’s the small things 💪

Awww it really is great when we see these small things happen…… I have a long way to go but after 6 weeks and 21 1/2 lb down and I can fasten my seatbelt much easier, wear shoes/boots that my feet were too wide for, walk much further without pain in my knee, and no breathlessness….. amazing.

Just done my first successful bonus dose. By the forcing round method. No idea what i did differently to my failed attempts but it seemed to work. Also no idea how much I actually got as didn’t count the clicks -I’m not that technical. But if I feel suppression waning may inject from the new pen a day or so earlier next week as need be.

I did the 5th dose but just went straight with syringe as didn’t want to not be able to get it all out of pen. Worked great and will continue….

Ooh think you tagged me in on the wrong thing. I’ve not done any bonus doses…

Did some Google scholar browsing to try and answer my own question on whether fast or slow weight loss tends to result in better maintenance. I'd thought it was likely to be slow and steady wins - but from the quite limited info I found it seems that if anything it's the faster loss which correlates with keeping it off.
Of course that's correlation not necessarily causation but still interesting.

I'm a slow and hopefully steady personally, 11lb off so far. Things fitting a bit better but not a dramatic difference yet.

Day 1 dose 1
day 7 dose 2
day 14 dose 3
day 21 dose 4

so the 5th dose would be day 28 and within the 30 day window

Nuface in action here also!

Do you think the Nuface works? I have got one of those, I might dust it off but i'm not sure it really works?

murraymcgill · 03/01/2025 22:32

@Mounjaropen hi could you tell me how many 7.5 I would get from my 5mg pen I haven't a clue 🙃

Used consistently, any of the anti-ageing devices work. Nuface is best used in the mornings when it does make the most of a puffy morning face IMO, I definitely notice a difference over 12 weeks.

Disclaimer: I’ve not taken bonus doses or any dose other than a full dose on the prescribed pen…however, if my maths is correct, A 7.5 mg dose from a 5mg pen (despite the fact that is not cost effective ….and Assuming that is what you want to do) it is 1 x a full dose of a 5mg pen. (60 clicks) then a change of needle and 1 x a 0.5 dose of a 5mg pen (30 clicks).

@n27 my smart scales can measure my fat and muscle and give me a reading of how they're going up and down. Might something like that keep you motivated?

Where can you get scales that do this?

JasonTindallsTan · 03/01/2025 23:44

Well my stomach has continued to give me hell all day. I think it’s unlikely to be a side effect as it’s not like I’ve recently changed dose or anything. I’m really really hoping not anyway. Although on the bright side, nothing I’ve eaten today has stayed in me for more than an hour or so which should translate to a decent loss soon…

I've decided to switch to Cloud for my provider. They're a bit cheaper than my current provider and have a good long term maintenance policy. I'm 12 stone 10 so at 5'3 I'm inching from obese towards overweight at 12 stone. Hopefully getting to that goal by end of Feb.

Just been reading about Polynucleotides online!

I have to say this thread has been a real eye opener (sorry not meant to be a pun) in terms of anti aging treatments and what is out there now. I think I’ve been living under a rock!

TeenLifeMum · 04/01/2025 09:25

I really haven’t got back into calorie counting and yesterday finished the after eight chocolates, but… I’m down 3lbs from my post Christmas weight.
W6 D6
sw - 12st 9
cw - 11st 2
gw - 10st 2 (9st 10 if possible)

Coffeeandcinnamonbun · 04/01/2025 09:37

Two weeks of not calorie counting. I put on 0.8lb the first week but have lost 2.1lb this week so 1.3lb weight loss is still something I’m happy with. Back to calorie counting today and it’ll be easier when I’m back in a work routine next week.

Dose 7 3.75mg today. From a 5mg pen.
SW 12st 10lb
CW 11st 10.8lb
BMI 29.2
Loss 2.1lb
Total loss 13.3lb
I don’t have a goal weight but 10st 1lb is at the top end of my healthy range according to the NHS BMI page. I’ve not been that size since I was 19 so I can’t imagine getting there at the moment!

Me too!
I used a daily moisturiser but have now invested in M and S formula skin care which is made by Clarins. Got an intro gift box containing £80 worth of products for £40. I like what I have used so much am going to pop into M&S today and get more!

However , with respect to Polynucleotides, Salmon sperm, 🤢

We’ve all to a certain extent neglected ourselves. 2025 is our year of personal self-investment - in whatever way we choose to. 💪🏻
