I have started ‘sensible eating’ 3 days ago. My two aim is to cut out bread and and sweet stuff. My prescription hasn’t been approved yet but i feel i need to start eating the way i meant to go on.
Any particular diet suggestions while on MJ?

I was on a 'diet' for a month first. I lost nearly a stone. Then I thought 'oh god, I can't do this again', imagining the months of hunger, deprivation, misery ahead and put an order for MJ in.
In terms of diet on MJ, you'll find lots of info on here about that but basically, most do low carb, low fat, high protein food. Little and often, rather than large meals. This helps with digestive issues from the drug. You need to monitor your calories - you need to be in a calorie deficit to lose weight, just like you would if you weren't on the medication. Your prescriber should have lots of info about this on their website so would recommend doing your research (but be wary of Tiktok nonsense).

Yes I did, I ordered MJ and it arrived around 10 days before, but as I was going away for a few days I wanted to wait to inject when I returned home. I know what to eat as I normally keep my wait down doing this, obvs not for a while though! And you don’t know how you'll react and didn’t want to have issues whilst away.

when I started on mj I’ve had minimal side effects but it’s definitely suppressed my appetite and it is working. For me Ive taken on board that once I’ve lost what I need to and stopped MJ (May consider a maintenance dose) eating well is still important. So basically what I’m saying is changing habits and food choices is just as important to maintain an healthy weight with or without MJ.

previously when I’ve been lighter and maintained for years, I had a 80/20 approach and this worked, so I was ‘good’ most of the time .

download a calorie counting app, I use Lose IT , work out your deficit ended and be truthful when logging x Good Luck x
