How many clicks

I have a 5.g pen unused but want to do 7.5 how many clicks do I do for this thanks

You would need to do a full dose of 60 clicks first. Then change the needle and do another dose of 30 clicks.

Or just 90 clicks? I’ve never tried to go past the line on a dost with clicks. Does it let you? I’d be more tempted to just withdraw it with a syringe.

It doesn't let you go past 60 clicks but if you use a syringe it would be 0.9ml

When DP wanted to increase his dose (had done 2 months of 2.5 and was going to 5 but part way through second pen wanted to go to 5) we did full dose, kept pen in his stomach and did another 30 clicks then took pen out, so didn't need a second needle but also didn't risk putting needle in twice.

@Snozzlemaid @AgathaMystery @SevernWonders can u not just do 2 jabs like 5 then 2.5? Is that not easier ?

The 60 clicks equals one full dose of 5 and to get the 2.5 dose you will need to count the clicks to get to the right point. So that will be 30 clicks to get 2.5 from a 5mg pen.
