Random side effect?!

I injected my first 2.5mg mounjaro yday, and today I have brown discharge (tmi sorry) like when ure about to come on or just finished ur period. My cycle is usually spot on monthly give or take a day. I'm not due for another full week

Has anyone else experienced this?

Your body's reaction to it was quick but it's not so random. MJ has been known to affect periods (cause it to either come earlier or later, be lighter or heavier, shorter or longer, etc) even for those who're on the pill and stopped their periods. It normalises later.

Ah ok I had read it can affect period once ppl lose weight because high weight affects periods etc.

No, it can affect it regardless of weightloss. Mine started within a week or 2 of my first jab. Little to no weightloss yet then. Others haven't mentioned a significant weightloss with theirs either, usually within the first 3 weeks of 2.5mg, for those that I've seen. By then, most people haven't really lost that much weight.

I've had this side effect, but not with mj. I had it on semaglutide. It messed my cycles up for a few months, until it settled x
