Flu and MJ....

I have the nasty strain of Influenza A going around which put me in hospital for the day earlier this week. I still feel awful, horrible chesty cough, sore throat and exhausted.

My next MJ injection (5mg dose 3) is due tomorrow. I'm struggling to deal with the flu side effects at the mo, and the last twice I've injected MJ I've had horrible nausea and headache for the first two days. How long can I delay taking MJ so I can make sure I'm recovered from this flu before I inject?? The last thing I want is to be doubly poorly...

I have Flu A at the moment and dosing as normal, but I've never had any side effects from MJ. I think you can delay by 4 days? But to be honest, others have skipped a week and we're fine, it won't make a difference. Flu will be your suppression this week!

According to the guide, you can delay taking it for 4 days, or if you need more than that, just take it at your next scheduled dose which is in a week.

Thanks both, really appreciated. I'll go with the 4 days delay and pray I'm feeling better by then and if not skip the week. I wouldn't wish this flu on anyone 😭

This flu is definitely worse than either bout of covid that I have had. I've got 7 days of antibiotics and steriods now.

It really is horrendous, they never gave me anti biotics as it wasn't affecting my breathing. But if I've still got this horrendous chesty cough on Monday I'll be asking for some. Hope you feel better soon
