Hit my interim goal

I'm a secret Mounjaro user so don't have anyone to tell this to in real life (apart from DH) but feel like I want to celebrate it.

I have severe adenomyosis and endometriosis and need a hysterectomy but was told at the start of the year that I had to get my BMI under 35 before they would operate. This seemed completely unachievable a year ago. My starting weight was 18 stone and to reach this BMI goal, I would have to lose 4 stone.

I lost a stone on my own and then started MJ in June. I have been losing weight slowly but consistently every week. I really wanted to hit my interim goal before Christmas and today I stepped on the scale and saw this. I did it!

I have my surgery in May and this is absolutely going to change my quality of life. (I'm still obese and plan on losing more weight but I feel like the pressure is off a little now.)

That's brilliant, well done! Great that you've got to your surgery weight goal with plenty of time to spare, it must be a relief to know you can definitely go ahead with the it all in May.

Thank you so much. I can't tell you what a relief it is knowing I'm going to feel better soon after years of struggling with daily pain. This was the kick up the arse I needed to do something about my weight.
