First week on Mounjaro

Hi. I am planning to have my first jab of Mounjaro tomorrow. I have tried Saxenda before but I was always so tired! Has anyone else switched to Mounjaro from Saxenda and if so what was it like? Thanks x

Hello. How are you finding the first week on the medication? I don't have experience of Saxenda but I hope Mounjaro is going well for you. Have you found some of the larger support threads where you can chat with people and get advice?

Hi. Well I only had the jab yesterday but so far I don’t feel like eating lots of rubbish. I have eaten but smaller portions and healthy food. No side effects at all. Of course it’s early days but when I took Saxenda I felt unwell more or less straight away. Watch this space……

That sounds like a positive start. I hope you continue to experience none or very few side effects. I have been taking Mounjaro for 5 months now and I would say that it's going really well. I know that everyone reacts differently to it but I hope it works well for you.
