Bruise at injection site

I did my first injection into my abdomen yesterday, and I didn’t even feel it at the time. I injected slowly and followed the instructions, but 24 hours later I have a really dark bruise, and it’s not small. Is this usual? X

It happens! I get one about every third jab!

I had one of those once - I think I pressed too hard. I get them when I have bloods taken out of my arm, too.

Depends if you pierce a capillary with the needle, causing it to leak a bit after you pull the needle out.
