Who will medexpress price match?

I’ve looked at the comparison site and medexpress is not the cheapest but I’m aware they don’t price match all providers. Anyone aware of which provider I can look at that they successfully had medexpress match?

Although to be fair Asda have sent me a 10% off code on advance of every order.

Has anyone had success price matching a 7.5 over the last few days? If yes who did you price match against? I've had 2 requests rejected so far...

Nope… I gave up trying! 4 different pharmacies rejected by Medexpress. Still not sure I actually understand why.

I had an email from medexpress saying they wouldn’t price match when I tried as the other company didn’t provide needles or swabs. So wasn’t the same level I emailed back and pointed out that medexpress has never sent me needles or swabs. Didn’t hear back. Found a different company which they did agree to price match so I reordered. Funny enough I got needles and swabs with that pen!

Every other post I read at the moment is complaining about MedExpress! They have apparently released a list of the only pharmacies with whom they will price match and they are pretty much all more expensive!

There are also reports of them taking referral credit out of peoples accounts, refusing returning customers under 30bmi and emailing people about posting their codes on socials!

Personally, I'd steer well clear!

I use Chequp and they are mid tier price wise, but there discount scheme is useless as you have to input the email address of the person who you are offering the discount to, and I don't know anyone who I would want to share that with. THey refused me a price match with MedExpress as ME don't provide a full service, e.g nutritional coaching etc which I have never used. Luckily I don't need the cheapest but I would prefer if it were regulated and prices were same everywhere.

MedExpress have shot themselves in the foot. I got my first pen with an introductory discount but I paid full price for my second cos I just wanted it handy. Went to order my third and thought I’d try the price match thing. Well, I’ve tried and failed because every single example I’ve sent doesn’t meet their T and Cs - but they refuse to tell me how. So I’ve decided to vote with my feet. And get a new supplier. Seems like a silly business model to deliberately annoy an established customer so much that they make the effort to leave 🤷🏼‍♀️

Nothing there is unfair/against their T&Cs. They don’t have to prescribe to anyone under BMI 30. They can withdraw their price match scheme and their referral scheme at any time. Plus it’s explicitly listed in their referral T&Cs to not post your referral code publicly online. If they are removing credit obtained that way, they have been transparent that is not allowed so are just upholding their policies.

Frankly it seems like all these complaints stem from people chasing discounts and the lowest price. I get why the cost is a concern to people but it’s powerful, legitimate prescription medication at the end of the day, it shouldn’t be associated with bargains and financial incentives.

Well yeah, if other companies offer it cheaper then it makes sense to order directly from them.

I've just been declined with a similar reply for Ashcroft Pharmacy. This is the first time I have attempted a price match and I've been with only them for months.

I've had numerous delivery issues with them and they just don't care so I thought I'd try and get a discount this month.

I really hate MedExpress and truly wish I'd never gone with them in the first place. If I can stop one person from going with them then I will have cost them my price match and I'll be happy with that.

They now won't price match to anyone lower then them. All the chemists they mention are same price or more then med express

Have you checked every website? I have just had a Quick Look and simple pharmacy are cheaper than med express so this would suggest it would qualify for price match. This is the only one I checked and I checked for 2.5

Maybe on low doses. But they are cheap anyway

I'm on 12.5

As doses go higher they get more costlier

And think def from 10 and 12.5 none of the ones mentioned are cheaper sadly

Thanks for posting this, this is a new addition to their website! At least it offers some transparency. I’ve submitted a claim as I have found one of those sites £4.99 less than I paid. Will see what comes back this time!

Not read the full thread so this might already have been said! They wouldn't price match for me a few days ago because the other provider don't supply a sharps box!!! I emailed them back to say that was an absolutely ridiculous reason as they only provide a sharps box with the first order!!

I will no longer be using them because they are being deliberately obtuse with their price match policy. Also, the pharmacists they say they will price match with are all more expensive!!

Medexpress have never given me a sharps box! If I ask them for one will I get one free of charge? Be interesting to see.
