Sharps bin

Where are you all disposing of sharps bins? Every time I switch providers I get a new one - so I have one full and 2/3 empty!!! Empty can go in recycling but what about the full?

Your local council website should have details on what facilities are available to safely dispose of sharps bins. Mine runs a free service where you can book a collection, and I think many areas do this too.

Most pharmacies will take them.

I've used 3 pharmacies so far and only had one sharps bin from my first one! I work in a hospital laboratory so will dispose there when it's full. Could you take it to a hospital outpatients department or GP if council don't take it?
