Finally decided to crack on and give Mounjaro a go after meeting with my GP to discuss this week.

I have done loads of research but I just need some advice on the best place to order from, obviously I'd like the best deal with the quickest delivery etc but if I have to pay a little more for better service I don't mind. I'd be grateful for any advice please.

Have you seen the comparison websites, two that I know of are

https://monj.co.uk/
https://www.missmounjarouk.com/

They list registered pharmacies, the cost for each pen plus any available discounts.

I use Asda, they are extremely quick to process orders and have been very reliable for me, over the 22 weeks I've been using Mounjaro. But, really, all the pharmacies are pretty similar, with the exception of the ones (Voy, at least, maybe Numan as well?) who offer a rolling subscription services where you automatically get the next pen sent out unless you actively change your subscription settings. Some offer personalised coaching and lots of support, which some people (not me!) like.

I do have a 10% discount code for Asda if you'd like it. Clearly it also benefits me by 10% if anyone uses my code, to be absolutely up front about it.

JustPassingByToo · 06/12/2024 12:19

@SilenceInside I've never seen you share that you're offering a discount code and I could have sworn you were against it too. Needs must I guess so I'm not judging, just surprised.

SilenceInside · 06/12/2024 12:23

@JustPassingByToo blimey. I haven't shared it, because that poster hasn't asked me for it.

For full disclosure I have also posted my actual code, once, on the specific thread for it. Probably a few months ago now.

I feel like I'm being told that I'm not welcome to post.

Oh no not at all! Your post is fine. I also know you haven't shared it here which is why I said 'sharing that you're offering a discount code' instead of saying 'you shared your discount code'. Lol. I was just so surprised because I didn't realise you'd shared once and thought you were against discount codes (I could be wrong - obviously i am mistaking you for one of the other posters who's against it) but of course as I said I'm not judging at all - truly - because even if you were, things can change.

Obviously you should send out a MN memo if you ever change your opinion (if you ever had that opinion) on anything - didn't you know that?? 🤣

Hope no one quotes my posting history as I change my mind constantly! 🤦‍♀️

SilenceInside · 06/12/2024 12:47

Of course I feel bloody well judged. And criticised for being very marginally inconsistent, but do feel free in future to hold it against me if I ever mention an opinion about the model operated by some providers. Clearly I am now invalidated from any discussion about it.

JustPassingByToo · 06/12/2024 12:53

Ah well, didn't think it was that deep but hey ho.

SilenceInside · 06/12/2024 12:56

Indeed. "hey ho".

Edited

And that is okay. We all do. Although I haven't quoted anyone's posting history. Lol. Someone can wonder why and mention it to me and all I'd do is say I've changed my mind. Not a big deal unless there's more to it.

You seem very touchy. Maybe I was right in my first thought that you were against it for it to affect/offend you this much and become quite dramatic with this post Of course I feel bloody well judged. And criticised for being very marginally inconsistent, but do feel free in future to hold it against me if I ever mention an opinion about the model operated by some providers. Come on! It can't be that serious to you.
I've said a few times I am not judging and I am not (if i was, I'm not shy to say so nor would I lie about it) but if you feel judged, it's on you. I didn't mean to cause offence but as mumsnet is famous for saying 'Offence is not given, it's taken'.
