MJ seems to have cured me of nail biting

Has anyone else apparently been cured of nail biting on Mounjaro? I’m 55, shamefully a lifelong nail biter though I’ve been able to break the habit maybe 3-4 times previously but only temporarily. I started MJ at the end of August, I’m down 23lbs despite still only being on 5mg, and I do declare that this drug is a fkg miracle. But the weirdest thing for me is that my compulsion to bite my nails literally stopped overnight. I have never, ever experienced this. I now have gorgeous nails which I’m very much enjoying decorating 😂
Anyone else found that MJ has broken this horrible habit, or anything similar? I’m aware that trials in addiction are in the pipeline, and I’ve heard many people talking about MJ taking away the desire for things like cigs and booze.

If it works for you, that's fantastic. It seems to be the wonder drug of the planet Earth at the moment.

I was thinking earlier (I don't use it BTW), that since it is so successful in addiction to food, drink, other habits etc., there may be little need for much research into further cures for cancer, heart disease, etc. because the world will be full of healthy people who don't do any of the "wrong" stuff anymore - the stuff that causes all the above and more. You know the stuff we are lectured on every day and most of it is denial of pleasure in one form or another. Exercise will still be important though I'd say.

Give it 20 years and people will live for a lot longer than now, will have fewer life limiting illnesses, strokes, blood pressure, heart disease, auto immune issues and so on. Sounds incredible, but who would have thought 20 years ago that there would be a drug that would curb appetite and enable steady weight loss without hunger and denial, or the feeling of starvation? Hmmm not many I'd say.

So we can basically do what we like, take the pill/shot/injection and we will never succumb to all those illnesses that are caused by being overweight or addicted to substances.

Discuss!

@Fourfurrymonsters I have noticed that a skin pick a lot less, almost nothing now which is a great side effect that I wasn't expecting. Mounjaro acts on the brain so I can see how there might be other effects that go alongside.

But it could also be down to losing the weight and feeling positive about the whole process.
