Anyone else had Zero side effects on Mounjaro?

I'm 12 weeks in and just about to go up to 7.5 this weekend and have had literally almost no bad side effects at all. Literally day 3 of first injection felt queasy and that's been it.
I have previously used Ozempic last year and oh my days some weeks were horrific. I had the whole she-bang, sulphur burps, nausea, diarrhea/constipation and one week I actually vomited what I could only describe as something akin to a hairball minus the hair literally a congieled vomit ball - like nothing I'd eaten had broken down in my stomach. I persevered for another 2 to 3 weeks after that and then stopped Oz.
Has anyone had an increase of side effects the higher dosage as you titrate? I've got that feeling like it feels weird/wrong not to have any bad side effects. 🫣🤔

Not had anything other than a bit of constipation and constantly feeling full!

IMustBeInvisible · 30/11/2024 10:12

Not wrong at all. Many don't. We just tend to hear more from people who do because those are the people who need to talk about it and get some help/support/encouragement. It's not exactly a conversation starter to say "Hi I'm on MJ, nothing to report. No side effects". You just get on with it. So good for you.

Hope you don't jinx it though. 😬

Willowy1982 · 30/11/2024 10:24

I haven't had any negative side effects and I'm on 7.5mg. It's been a wonder drug for me!

Snozzlemaid · 30/11/2024 10:30

I had my first side effects on my third week of 10mg, after 6 months on MJ. Absolutely nothing before.
I was smugly going along thinking this was a breeze but it's hit me hard the last few weeks, with 24 hours of diarrhoea every week.
I dropped down to 7.5 this week but still suffered. Not sure now whether I should drop even lower or ride it out and see if it passes.
I've still got 3stone to loose to be a healthy BMI so not ready to give up yet.

Not much here either. Feeling full quickly and nauseous if I continue, have some fatigue on the day of or after the jab. Other than that, nothing.

HansHolbein · 30/11/2024 11:11

No side effects. It’s done wonders for my PCOS. Due to start 7.5 soon.

WilmaFlintstone1 · 30/11/2024 11:12

Just constipation which I manage and indigestion if I eat too many refined carbs. Food noise is very reduced ….and that’s on just 5mg. ,

worriedMiL33 · 30/11/2024 11:13

zero adverse effects until 15mg, then really nauseous!

Sandwichgen · 30/11/2024 11:17

Pretty much. A bit of fatigue on 10mg

but very slow weight loss - wonder if that and low side effects go hand in hand?

like you, I felt like death on Ozimpic

Shirty48 · 30/11/2024 11:21

Nothing on 2.5 or 5 but horrendous on 7.5 🤢. Full range of symptoms I’m on week 3 but thinking of going back to 5. I wish I’d just stayed on 5.

LionAndEmperor13 · 30/11/2024 12:52

zero side effects!

Exactly the same. I have even put on about 5kg waiting for MJ to start working. I wish I’d just stayed on Ozempic. Even if I switch back, that’s probably another wasted three months before I get to an effective dose.

I’m so angry with myself - my mum always said “buy cheap buy twice”!

I wonder this too. I have very slow loss (which is fine) but I do wonder if it's just impacting me less overall.

wizzywig · 30/11/2024 17:57

Nah nothing. No side effects

Styleislost · 30/11/2024 18:01

i don’t. I was a bit constipated for a couple of days but that’s not hugely unusual for me.

Though it hasn’t been since then. As I prioritising fibre and protein, it’s stopped that sort of thing happening.

I am 38lb down 12.5 weeks in.

happygertie · 30/11/2024 22:09

I had one day of an upset tummy a while back but that's it, apart from being cold.
I'm on 7.5 currently

Timetochange24 · 30/11/2024 23:18

No significant side effects. Had a few days of indigestion after a very rich and boozy birthday meal and get a bit constipated if I don't have enough water and fibre, but that's probably expected even without the medication. I've lost 30lb/16% of my starting weight since late August.
